I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas this year. Life has been crazy busy with a whirlwind of different events happening each week. I know that it has been a few days since we last spoke and although we have all been so busy these days I wanted to share with you all a special gift. Candy Cane Chocolate Thumbprints. That’s right…
I used to wonder why during the holidays different varieties of thumbprints would always be made, and this time for one of the many holiday parties we went to, I wanted to add to the extensive repertoire out there in the blogosphere. Now of course you could of added what ever you wanted in the center of these cookies, like chocolate ganache, M&m’s, and different kinds of Hershey kisses. I wanted to add candy cane kisses to the center for extra holiday cheer.
These cookies were great on their own also just make sure you have a tall cold glass of milk!
I know that for some out there this holiday season has been very difficult to celebrate or even feel holiday joy. I ask for all of us to just say a small prayer for all of the loved ones missing and not here. For those of you who are fortunate to have yours with you squeeze them, hold them tight because you do not know what tomorrow brings.
From my family to yours, Happy Holidays!
So easy and simple and chocolatey……
Chocolate-Kissed Candy-Cane Thumbprints, what could be a better cookie for the holidays!
