Crescent Breakfast Ring

This crescent breakfast ring will become everyone’s favorite weekend breakfast choice!

If it was possible to live on carbs alone I think I would do it?  of course the ultimate ending answer would be that I wouldn’t end up being 500 pounds if I did…

I remember my mom would make these crescents rolls with cheese inside and bake them.  They would be the absolute best things to eat for breakfast before school.  I make the same things for my kids.

This time I wanted to add scrambled eggs, cheese, and of course BACON.  Yes I am adding bacon again to another dish.

Does that really surprise you?  Well it shouldn’t because I mean its breakfast and nothing sweeter than some crispy bacon!

Let’s check out the process…

  • Prep Time: 5 minutes
  • Cook Time: 20 minutes
  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: serves 4

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz can Pillsbury Crescents (8 crescents in a can)
  • 810 slices cooked Bacon
  • 6 Eggs
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 1 egg for egg wash optional
  • chopped Scallion for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 F degrees.
  2. In a bowl beat the eggs and milk. Season with salt and pepper. Cook the eggs in a skillet and scramble them. (If you want to add chopped peppers, ham, onions tomatoes do so now while cooking your eggs)
  3. Lay out the crescent on a greased cooking sheet or parchment pepper, like a star as shown in the picture above.
  4. On each crescent lay a piece of bacon. Add half of the cheese around the ring. Add the scrambled eggs around the ring and top with remainder of the cheese.
  5. Fold the crescents over. You may now brush with the egg wash if you like for that golden color.
  6. Bake for about 20 minutes or until the crescents are cooked and golden brown.
  7. Enjoy!
