Easy Chocolate Croissants

Looking for something easy, delicious and extra special to make for your mother or wife this Mother’s Day!  I know for Mother’s Day it is one of the days I can actually guarantee there will be no questions of  “Mommy what are we eating?” or “Mommy what are you cooking?”  There’s just mommy getting to sleep in and have some breakfast or whatever delicious treat my husband and children want to surprise me with.

With this simple easy recipe all you need to do is purchase fresh right out the oven croissants add nutella, white chocolate, and mini chocolate chips.

Nutella and White Chocolate

Its that fast and easy!  A decadent breakfast treat or chic dessert, especially when strawberries are added. 🙂

Halve the fresh croissants and spread the cut sides with as much Nutella you like. 🙂



Once all the halves have been slathered with Nutella, try not to eat them yet…


Place about 1 ounce of a white chocolate baking bar on top of the Nutella.


Then drop a few on the mini chocolate chips on top of the white chocolate.


Then lay the other half of the nutella covered croissant on top.



Then wrap the croissants looslely in aluminum foil.

Bake at 350° degrees for 8 minutes or until chocolate is melted.


Remove from foil and dust with powdered sugar.  Serve with strawberries.

Ingredients

6 Fresh Mini-Croissants

Nutella

White Chocolate Baking bar (I used Ghirardelli)

Mini Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Powdered Sugar (optional)

Directions

Halve fresh croissants lengthwise.  Spread each cut side with desired Nutella amount.  Place 1 ounce of chopped white chocolate baking bar inside.  Then sprinkle mini chocolate chips on top.  Wrap the croissants loosely with aluminum foil and bake at 350° degrees for 8 minutes or until chocolate has melted.  Remove from foil and dust with powdered sugar.  Serve with strawberries.
