It’s summertime in the house and snacks are being consumed by the hour… I know kids are out of school and that means they eat ALL the time!

These no bake monster cookie granola balls are packed with oats, chocolate chips, peanut butter, honey, mini M&m’s and wheat germ.  These bites are the perfect little bite-sized snacks that you can pop in your mouth when you have a hunkering for something sweet or a pick me up after a good workout.  Plus they have no sugar, flour or eggs.

The kids love making them, I think because it gives them a reason to get their hands dirty mixing the ingredients together and of course the fun part… rolling the balls. These balls recipe comes from Like Mother Like Daughter, I just altered it by adding wheat germ in them.  Anyway I can fill the kids with goodness I will… 😉

Mix up everything in a large bowl.

Roll up the balls and place them on a sheet tray.  Place in the fridge to harden up.

Once ready enjoy!

*keep the balls in the refrigerator and if they can last in there without being all consumed in an hour then your golden!

Prep Time: 8 minutes

Yield: 18 balls

No Bake Monster Cookie Granola Balls

The perfect bite-sized snack that tastes just like your favorite monster cookies!

Ingredients

  • 1¼ cups Old Fashioned Oats
  • ⅓ cup Wheat Germ
  • ½ cup Creamy Peanut Butter
  • ¼ cup Honey
  • ⅓ cup Mini M&Ms
  • ⅓ cup Mini Chocolate Chips

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, stir together the oats, wheat germ, peanut butter, and honey until well combined.
  2. Stir in the chocolate chips and M&M candies.
  3. Roll dough into 2-tablespoon sized smooth balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or longer, until set and harden.
  5. Once the balls have set, transfer them to an air-tight container and store in the refrigerator... Enjoy!
