No-Bake Protein Balls {peanut butter & chocolate chips}

Protein balls are the most perfect snack for all.  These protein balls are filled with peanut butter, old fashioned oats, honey, chocolate chips, and wheat germ.  You can add all other kinds of stuff if you want like shredded coconut, raisins, nuts, peanuts, the list is pretty endless.

These no-bake protein balls  are truly the best pick me ups in the middle of the day.

If your like me come 2pm you feel like you’re about to crash and are needing something to munch on and keep you awake. Instead of snacking on the wrong things these nutritious protein balls are packed with all types of yumminess.

Just throw all of the ingredients together in a large bowl.  Mix with a wooden spoon, or rubber spatula, or with your hands… either ones work.

Don’t forget the chocolate chips…

Before rolling, place the mix in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.  This makes the rolling the balls out a lot easier.

Roll and shape into 1-inch balls… then Enjoy!

You may have to fight with your ids for the last one… I know I did! 🙂

These simple no-bake protein balls are the perfect snack for anytime of the day filled with peanut butter, oats, honey and chocolate chips.

  • Prep Time: 5 minutes
  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 15 protein balls 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (dry) oatmeal (use old-fashioned oats)
  • 1/2 cup Peanut Butter
  • 1/3 cup Honey
  • 1/2 cup ground Wheat Germ
  • 1/2 cup Chocolate Chips
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Instructions

  1. Stir all ingredients together in a medium bowl until thoroughly mixed. Cover and let chill in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes.
  2. Once chilled, roll into 1-inch balls. Store in an airtight container and keep refrigerated for up to 1 week– if they last that long!

These no-bake protein balls are the perfect healthy snack!
