There was a time in my life when I was in college I used to work at The Gap.  I worked their for two years after graduating High School.  On my lunch break I would always run over to Red Lobster for a plate of their famous Cheddar Bay Biscuits.  I know that’ all I would get, I absolutely love them… have you ever had them before?

Well these babies are laced with garlic, butter and cheddar cheese with fluffy insides, golden brown bottoms and salty, crunchy tops.  They are perfection honestly.  Kind of addicting actually…













I love trying to replicate some of my favorite restaurant specialties, these just happen to be one of those recipes.  They are so easy to make and center around a boxed biscuit mix, Bisquick.

Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuits

Red Lobster Biscuits

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 10 minutes

Yield: makes 8 biscuits

Red Lobster Biscuits

Homemade cheddar bay biscuits just like the ones at Red Lobster!


  • 2 cups Bisquick Baking Mix
  • 2/3 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 teaspoon Garlic Salt
  • 1/4 cup Butter, melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 2 teaspoon Dried Oregano


  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Mix baking mix, milk, garlic salt and cheese until soft dough forms; beat vigorously for 30 seconds. Drop dough by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  3. Bake 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Mix melted butter, oregano and garlic powder; brush over warm biscuits before removing from cookie sheet. Serve warm.
