Have you heard of the spatula-wielding virtual lady, named Cooking Mama, for the Nintendo DS?

If so, then guess what there is a new version coming soon, Cooking Mama 3: Shop & Chop, that will feature new and improved grocery shopping element.  The players can ”Combine and Create,” which allows the players to invent their own recipes based on ingredients used in existing in-game recipes.  The new edition will also feature 80 “fresh” recipes including Korean barbecue, mochi with edamame paste, and lemon pie.

Take a closer look inside First Lady Michelle Obama and White House Chef Sam Kass’s first garden at the White House since Eleanor Roosevelt’s Victory Garden during World War II.  This new garden was planted in the Spring of 2009 with the help of local Bancroft Elementary School children and has yielded a constant supply fresh produce for the First Family and White House events.

 The White House vegetable garden has already yielded hundreds of pounds of food.  It’s an amazing start with so much more potential!

So do you all rememeber when we met Little Gordon, a pint-size Bitish version of Chef Gordon Ramsay look alike.

This time he is tormenting cafeteria lunch ladies, especially poor Margaret, and bleeping hydrogenated school cafeteria lunches.

Here is a 2009 Baskin-Robbins TV Commercial for Ice Cream Cakes. In the video you will find adorable cake toppers dancing to “Ice Cream and Cake” by the Buckwheat Boyz.  These are the same group responsible for the internet theme song “Peanut Butter Jelly Time.”

In honor of Father’s Day, this past Sunday, President Obama hosted a cookout on the South Lawn of the White House for all father’s especially young men, to stress the importance of being good fathers.  On of the featured chefs that were invited to take part of this special event was the well known, Bobby Flay.

The items that were on the Father’s Day menu were grilled steaks, corn, and barbecued chicken.  Bobby also said the one thing that he needed to coach the President on, in regards to grilling, was the importance of not flipping steaks. Bobby gave the president beef for wanting to take a peek at the steaks cooking on the grill.

The top of the Green Box breaks down into convenient serving plates, eliminating the need for disposable plates. The bottom of the Green Box converts easily into a handy storage container, eliminating the need for plastic wrap, tin foil or plastic bags. The perforations and scores that create this functionality allow for easy disposal into a standard-sized recycling bin. Made from a standard pizza blank, the Green Box requires no additional material or redesign.

I think this convenient and will actually fit in the fridge once you transform it…. Great Idea guys!!!!!

Ron and Judi Barrett’s classic children’s story Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs will become a 3-D IMAX film by Sony Pictures Animation, starring Andy Samberg and Anna Faris.

The 30-page children’s book although its thin,the animated film now features scientist, named Flint Lockwood, who instigates edible storms, turning water into food, in hopes of ending world hunger.  If any of you remember, how the book started off with Grandpa accidentally whacking his grandson with a pancake while flipping one for breakfast, then explains how normal this is in Chewandswallow.

According to a Sony Exec, ”The story is about ‘food weather,’ and so food falling from the sky lends itself so well to 3-D.”
